City Limits began as the local Hillhurst/Sunnyside community newspaper. It served as Calgary's only alternative voice during it's short (one year) existance. Totally partisan, with every article reading almost as a guest editorial, the paper covers local community, cultural, and international issues, offering alternative perspectives on women's issues, labour, culture, the third world, and local and international politics.
