I was told what had happened at the level crossing in a purely verbal form devoid of interpretation and analysis. This anecdote seems to metaphorically match the situation in art: a group of people with different artistic status possessing given material-ideological values, awaiting an accidental order to fill their "expectations". Before their expectations are realized some unforeseen events take place. Nothing comes of it and yet everybody loses. I decided to tell the story using an artistic system. I used five artistic conventions characterizing the present situation in art, in order to illustrate the anecdote.
I chose graphic art, painting and photography because of their flat morphology and their capability of artistic illustration. They are common, typical conventions used for maintaining the balance of art values.

I treat these works as demonstrative points in autodidactics which are capable of revealing the specific character of culture, divergencies, paradoxes and absurdity in polyalternative conceptions of art.

I define polyalternativity as the existence of mutually exclusive conceptions in art. These conceptions, however, serve the formal demonstration or illustration of a given problem.

WHAT I DID WAS TO REFLECT REALITY IN THE MIRROR OF ART, THIS REFLECTION BEING A REAL PICTURE OF ART IN CULTURAL REALITY.
